My 18 month old has been a bit of, what we like to call, a cavebaby in that she has NEVER liked wearing shoes. It came to a bit of a head recently when she started refusing to wear socks too. (Yes, we're the ones who are glared in Sainsburys with a little girl with no shoes on and throwing her socks off!)

This weekend my other half and I took dd shoe shopping. She had a good old scream at the poor incredibly fantastic and understanding young girl who measured her feet in Clarks.

But today SHE'S ACTUALLY WEARING SHOES AND WALKING IN THEM!! We've had a kick about in the garden and a walk up the street. Would I be really unreasonable to post a million photos on Facebook and tell everyone we bump into that my little "Ug" is all grown up??!!
