Seriously thinking about going alone (not really)...

Child free and not having an early morning and no ones available to get obliterated with! I just want to see a few pubs and have a dance or two.

Is there somewhere I can rent a friend?

Purplemonster · 18/01/2014 18:46

Ooh me! Can I come? DP can stay at home with the baby, haven't had a night out in ages. Actually, I'd probably be that friend, you know the one that's on their arse a couple of drinks in and ruins your whole night...I'll just stay at home shall I.

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 18/01/2014 18:47

No purple every pub crawl needs one of them..

Now are any of you lovely people willing to disclose location!

LaurieFairyCake · 18/01/2014 18:49

I can come.

I'm in Hertfordshire Grin

eyebrowsfurrowed · 18/01/2014 18:51

Midlands! Come on ladies I know all the good ones. The ones with real ale, the ones with the best juke boxes, the ones with the DJs that will play us a song, the ones with the jager bombs... Phew! I'm getting jittery!

TheOrchardKeeper · 18/01/2014 18:53

OO OO ME ME Smile

DP is being a grump & I am DYING to get a bit merry & dance about til my feet hurt. It's been months!

Yama · 18/01/2014 18:53

It's funny, I've been thinking all week that I'd love to go out this weekend. You know, getting excited the way I looked forward to nights out in my twenties.

Didn't arrange anything though [sheer laziness].

noswingpark · 18/01/2014 18:54

I'm in west Wales, I have no friends but would do anything (ANYTHING) for a pub crawl!

iloveweetos · 18/01/2014 18:55

In midlands and can't wait to have a massive glass of wine! 29 weeks pregnant so a while til I can!

MintSpys · 18/01/2014 18:55

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 18/01/2014 18:57

Mint that's just mean!

eyebrowsfurrowed · 18/01/2014 18:59

OH Weetos congrats ! You will think you've drowned in a vat of wine when you get round to that first glass. I remember my first postnatal glass of wine phhhhhew it went to my head! Weetos were my fav whilst preggo :)

MintSpys · 18/01/2014 18:59

Sorry - it's just too cold! Grin

Didn't think there were any other mumsnetters round here - never spotted one yet (apart from my sister)

Yama · 18/01/2014 19:01

Thanks for the 'The Voice' reminder. I had just started on my lovely glass of Cava and was in a wee haze, totally forgetting to keep an eye on the time. Phew!

Purplemonster · 18/01/2014 20:08

Okay I'm in Devon so by the time I've driven all the way to the midlands you'll all be in bed well and truly smashed and won't notice that it only takes two drinks before I'm giggly so it will be fine!

PervyMuskrat · 18/01/2014 20:19

I'm in the midlands and there's nothing I'd rather do tonight than go out and get hammered on a pub crawl. Unfortunately I am also pregnant so would have to sit there with a tonic water and a face like a slapped arse and then go home early because I'm knackered so I might put a downer on things!

MakingEveryDayCount · 18/01/2014 21:02

Me! If you're in West Yorkshire I'll be up for a pub crawl. Grin
Used to love going on pub crawls. Friday nights and Saturdays would see me bar hopping and ending up in the local cheesy night club for some 80's 90's choons.
Not done for years though, as everyone is all settled down and reluctant to go out!

MakingEveryDayCount · 18/01/2014 21:03

Midlands? Bugger. Bit too far. Ah well.

Weelady77 · 18/01/2014 21:05

Can I come I'm half pissed and up for a laughGrin

NickyNackyNooNoo · 18/01/2014 21:09

I'm in Yorkshire and always up for a boogie and soms booze Grin
