Life's too short to iron fitted sheets, I have enough of a battle trying to get them on the mattress in the first place.

Grin at 25 breast pads. One as a spare?

Sparklymommy · 14/01/2014 20:58

25 breast pads? That one made me chuckle!

ThisIsMeNow · 14/01/2014 20:59

To iron fitted sheets, put on bed and that's all I do iron.

ShatnersBassoon · 14/01/2014 21:00

It's the crease in small school trousers that I find impossible. My youngest's look like cords, there are so many bad attempts at keeping the crease in them.

SparklyTwinkleGlitter · 14/01/2014 21:01

What's an iron, lol?

Mintyy · 14/01/2014 21:02

Sincerely lolling at the idea of anyone trying to iron fitted sheets.

Or any sheets for that matter.

Or indeed duvet covers.

purplemurple1 · 14/01/2014 21:02

I thought the point of fitted sheets was no ironing.

sharonosaurus · 14/01/2014 21:02

Iron the sheet whilst its on the bed

BananaNotPeelingWell · 14/01/2014 21:04

I waved the white flag of surrender on fitted sheets quite recently. I used to iron everything. I wonder why now, I really do. The world still turns and my fitted sheets are un-ironedGrin

I have no idea what twisted chinos are. They sound mighty uncomfortable to wear and impossible to iron.

Binkyridesagain · 14/01/2014 21:06

I haven't ironed for over 4 months, my ironing pile still only has 5 things in it. If no body is going to see it or body heat will get the creases out it doesn't get ironed.

Sparklymommy · 14/01/2014 21:10

Pillow cases are a great way to teach my dd to iron.

I don't iron fitted sheets. Or any of Dh's stuff (except shirts, which he rarely wears!). I just fold it up as it comes out of the tumble dryer.

catdoctor · 14/01/2014 21:11

Great, so sounds like I've got a pass on the sheets - just wait till I tell the MIL Grin

Pads I couldn't work out - not a multiple of 3 nor 2, so I've one now free to a good home.

Ironing, what's that?

SkinnybitchWannabe · 14/01/2014 21:18

I dont iron anything!

Thesimplethings · 14/01/2014 21:18

I don't iron so can't help you with that. Wash tumble and hang up. Shirts dried on hangers over the tumble whilst its on. No ironing required.

But the breast pad thing, shouldn't you treat each breast to its own pack? It would work out then Grin

Inertia · 14/01/2014 21:21

Fitted sheets are pretty straightforward to iron if you fold the corners into each other.

( I know we're not meat to bother. But I do love getting into bed with lovely clean crisply ironed bedding. plus it doesn't fit in the bedding box otherwise).

StupidMistakes · 14/01/2014 21:23

As my house mate kindly pointed out whilst I was ironing my pillow cases and duvet the other day "why bother ironing they are only going to get creased anyway" yes I see your point but it looks nice til I sit my arse on the bed

Though would say he doesn't even possess an iron let alone knows how to use one, and seems to lack the ability to wash up. Hmm think he likes me pampering him which I don't mind in return for decent sex and chocolate Grin
