Garage Door & Automation Company Devon keep passing the buck!!

Hello Ladies,
I'm having terrible problems with Garage Door & Automation Company in Sowton Devon. The story goes, we had gates automated and I have a receipt with this company's name and a copy of the cheque stub to say that I paid this company. This company is stating a 3rd party did the work, and in their word's "They did crap work and have gone under" well my contract was with Garage Door & Automation Company Sowton Devon
So isn't it their problem, it was they that got paid an invoice.....
This company just pass the buck all the time. They send you from Sowton to Newton Abbot and Newton Abbot send you to Sowton. Im sick and tired of being pawned off.
I thinking of calling trading standards, any views????

And I forgot to add, I went to Garage Door & Automation Company today In Sowton Devon and the director tryed to act like he was unaware of my problem. it was him that I was dealing with, I wont tolerate being made a lie out of, I wish lie detectors were mandatory....

Call trading standards. Yanbu your contract is with them no one else if they sub contracted the work that is their problem. . Someone I know had a lot of luck recently by sending a recorded letter stating if the issues weren't resolved by such snd such a date they would be making a claim via small claims court.

You know, enough is enough of BS from people. I just got out the documentation again and I paid the company £2675.00 for their service's, as far as I am concerned I paid them, would you day I'm right?
