.... latch 13 mo ds on boobs so he can see in the night garden and I can mooch. as I have a chest infection (apparently, though I'm not coughing, just wheezing) and feel totally pants!!!!!!!

I've tried v hard not to let ds watch tv however he just picked up remote in delight and pointed at tv. dh appears to have recorded rather a lot of in the night garden Hmm

on a more serious note, Dr reckoned I should be off work all week. I work wed - Fri teaching asd/ sen, which involves swimming etc. and have had a few days sickness before xmas (plus 2 days when ds was ill)

I really dilly dallied going to dr as I'm.not actually coughing or snotty even - just a weird wheeze and feel very washed out. aibu to take full week off?

head - who is good - said we'd 'have to have a conversation about my time off and what can be done to support me' when I'm better. just normal procedure?

was off most of my pregnancy Blush

TV is fine when anyone is sick. I speak as the TV monitor in my house.

Im having a lazy day...its been fantastic.
If you're ill then you need a sofa day.
My employer is a nightmare regarding sickness.
I got a verbal warning for being over the companies 3% absence allowance. (2days off in 6months).
So I understand if you're abit worried.

am feeling totally out of it. sadly I have a very bouncy 13 mo old!

luckily asleep at mo, will head for night garden when he's awake.....Grin
