(In case you are worried about clicking, it's a fab Youtube about when to visit A&E. Well done NHS!)

Fab !!!

After going out to someone at the weekend who wanted to go to A&E because he had a dry, sore throat which gave him 'breathing difficulties' a little education is well overdue.

Quite amusing :)

However GPs now need so much notice for an appointment that A&E is the only option.

I have a plan though. First sack all the GPs. Then let them work at A&E for free on workfare. Problem solved.

Funny! Good way to convey the message. They've copied Dumb Ways to Die a bit though.

I agree it's so hard to get an appointment at some practices. There's always OOH, though, and MIU.

But the ad is really good

First sack all the GPs

You can't. They are self employed and work under an NHs agreement whereby they provide services to the NHS and are rent berated as such.

Not sure why you think getting rid of GPs would be in any way beneficial to the health service?

I've always been lucky with being in the catchment area for large and well run GP practices although I appreciate not everyone has any choice in which practice then can register with.

Not sure why you think getting rid of GPs would be in any way beneficial to the health service? that's because you didn't read the whole post. I expect your finger got tired.
