Had such a lovely Christmas and new year that I'm feeling a bit deflated since I took the tree down yesterday. Anyone else?

Not as bad as I usually do but yes, I know what you mean. Doesn't help that the weather is shocking and it seems to never ending. On the plus side, my daffodils are starting to poke through the surface so Spring is just around the corner!

No not really. DH and I are both healthcare professionals so we both worked, haven't been anywhere and I'm dreading hoovering the massive pile of pine needles on my carpet.

Toddler DS had a great time which made it fab.

Always do - but if you didn't have the ordinary back for a good while, then the glitter and sparkle would become meaningless. You'll feel better when Spring comes and the new year is well on its way.

Yup! I do every year.

superstarheartbreaker · 04/01/2014 23:33

It's the kids that make it tbh.

Everywhere looks so bare. But it's DS2's birthday next week so we will have cards and chaos for a bit longer.....

I have finally got my house back in order. I still have a lot of food crap to consume.

Ilovemydogandmydoglovesme · 04/01/2014 23:39

I'm taking mine down tomorrow. Sad
