To think that parcelforce could narrow down their time slots a bit?

Really, I'm not expecting the nearest five minutes, or even the nearest hour, but 7am-6pm just seems a bit of a drag.

YANBU. I had a parcel from a company that you could go online and check the estimated time the night before, then track the driver as he went on his route (accompanied by information such as 'he is on drop number 63, you are drop number 66'). The parcel arrived smack in the middle if the estimated slot.

If one company can do it, why can't they all?

Trills · 03/01/2014 08:05

I think they offer "before 9am" and "before 1pm" but the person sending the package has to pay more and specify this at the point when they send it.

BrownSauceSandwich · 03/01/2014 08:15

Well, exactly Crohnicallysick. But I see what you mean, trills... It certainly allows scope for paying to upgrade the service. Bah.

Chrohnically yep just got my new iron via them. When they are on the drop before me I know to pop the dog out in garden so he doesn't bark at them! Love them

Kitty- What company is it? I forgot the name, I just remember the great service!

Parcel Force are cheap. Companies with hour delivery slots/driver tracking etc are not.

Chrohnically its dpd. I need to stop ordering stuff. My lovely driver turned up today and didnt even ask my name. I think that mean I need to stop buying stuff!

YANBU

DPD are great but it's a pain with parcelforce and others as you can't plan your day at all!
