AIBU in thinking this is THE most bizarre thing ever...?

I'm just watching the Doggy Styling documentary on "creative grooming"

Admittedly the creative in me is quietly impressed but it looks SO odd!

I've seen the trailer a few times and was quite...I want to say disgusted, but I don't know if that's right.

It looks over the top and unnecessary - it's the whole 'dog as fashion accessory' idea that I don't like.

Why? Why would you want to do that to a dog? The poor things can never go out in public ever again, you couldn't take them to the local park for fear of the other dogs laughing at them.

I was impressed with what they did but NO! A dog is an animal not a fashion accessory.

I'm really not a massive fan of dressing dogs up etc but the dogs in the documentary seem quite happy to sit there...so I'm not going to say it's cruel as such....it just looks so....strange...I'm not even sure if that's the right word. I don't even know if there is a word!!

I started watching it today. The panda dog was scary! They seem to take it very seriously.

I've seen it before. It's atrocious.
