to want DH to get back to work?! (light hearted)

We've had such a lovely Christmas and New Year and today DH went back to work. I'm off until Monday so was looking forward to two days of just me and DD. Enjoyed pottering and playing today and was geared up for same tomorrow ...

DH comes in tonight and says, "Surprise! I've taken the day off tomorrow! " Yay.

I am being a bit mean aren't I to want one more day of having DD all to myself. Flame away! (Or is your DH/DP getting under your feet too!)

Yup.

My DH is at work tomorrow (I don't work Fridays) but I was at work today.

The blighter was still in bed when I left Hmm . DD and DS still sleeping.

Turds the lot of them

balroy you should make him save his leave in case of "Snow Days" - I don't know if your DD is school age but there are bound to be days when you'll have to decide Who Stays Home .

(Tell him that anyway to get him back to work tomorrow) Smile

I dont blame you for wanting a bit of space. My DH had today booked off but decided to go back. He was going a bit stir crazy staying inside in this weather and is not so good at pottering around as me! Both sons busy with revisión today too so not great company. Tomorrow is DS1 birthday so he'll be off again though which is fine as will be busy with family visiting.

That's exactly it taxi! Mine is not so good at pottering either! Tomorrow we are now doing: park; cinema; lunch; petting zoo. I'm tired just thinking about it- my original plan was read books together in bed, lazy breakfast on sofa, walk to village cafe for cake and hot chocolate, post a letter then play with Barbies! DD is only 3 by the way so easy peasy to 'entertain'!

Oh well - can't complain really! Hope we all have a good day tomorrow!

It kind of the opposite for me. Finally got some time off work and now DH is back in work.

He's player guitar now. It's either that or loud music. He also wants to reorganise things.
I don't know what I'll do when he retires.
