Long story. Since about March last year things have been going really badly wrong.

It feels like death by a thousand cuts. I feel like running away, and yet know other people have it worse.

What's gone wrong?

It doesn't matter if other people have it worse. You are feeling the way you do because YOU are going through this not anyone else. It's you that's having to deal with this.

WaffilyVersatile · 02/01/2014 18:46

Whats up?

Finola1step · 02/01/2014 18:48

It really doesn't matter if you think other people have it worse. You can not define your unhappiness by comparing to that of others. You feel what you feel. Would it help to tell us more? Perhaps posting in Relationships might help.

This sounds terrible. Ca n you elaborate..? Make you feel better ?

LittleprincessinGOLDrocks · 02/01/2014 18:49

If you are feeling this way maybe you should talk to your GP?

I agree that it doesn't matter about what other people are going through, what matters is you. If you are struggling with your situation, then you need to focus on getting through it as best you can.

Are they things within your control that people on MN could help you with?

Onepostposy · 02/01/2014 19:02

Caff, you poor thing ((hug)) I have been there, I don't of course know exactly what has happened but I've definitely felt at breaking point.

I think that the first thing you may need to acknowledge is that whatever has happened, things won't right themselves overnight. Your GP may be able to help, I personally haven't found medical help or talk therapies helpful but that doesn't mean they aren't worth a try Flowers

It's a new year, you can and you will feel better, please let us all know ow we can help Brew

You are not hopeless - you have been strong to post here about your feelings.

ReluctantBeing · 03/01/2014 00:38

Don't compare yourself to others. Your feelings are your own and you've been brave to admit how you feel. Sometimes you have to put yourself first.
