Only if you ask in poem form ;)

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 31/12/2013 22:36

Only if you write a poem asking for it

TheNightIsDark · 31/12/2013 22:37

We are grabby yes it's true
So give us money, red not blue
We need to buy a big ass screen
You're invited but not your teen

You can sit with great aunt Sally
You'll find her rather pally
We're stopping the rhyme
just in time
To beg for all your money

Small print: DCs not invited, hotel wedding miles away, 7 night stay required. Details of hen/stag fortnights to follow

TidyDancer · 31/12/2013 22:37

You have to send out save the date cards and only invite half the people you send them to. Then ask the rest to decorate the venue.

That's what proper brides do.

TheBigJessie · 31/12/2013 22:38

Make sure to carefully assess the length and worth of your friends' relationships before you allow them to bring their partner to the actual wedding. Remember, it's perfectly acceptable to tell your best friend she can't bring her partner of ten years if she doesn't wear a ring. The fact you've known Gerard a scant 11 months is irrelevant.

To ask for money is just fine
But, you'll find it won't be mine

RandyRudolf · 31/12/2013 22:40

I hope you are pure for your wedding and haven't had sex before marriage like a Ho.

neunundneunzigluftballons · 31/12/2013 22:51

It is my wedding so it's my day
But if you attend don't forget to pay
The toll we are charging for your privilege to attend
And while we don't wish to offend
We want the money for ourselves to spend
On an overkill wedding right to the end
If you are on the mil's list
Don't forget to loosen your fist
The price for you is twice all others
Because we won't be charging for my mother's
Friends
The End.

BuffyxSummers · 31/12/2013 22:57

Soz but Gerard is lying and cheating on you . He's already married to me. K thx.

MsAspreyDiamonds · 31/12/2013 23:03

We kindly request no boxed gifts.

Pancakeflipper · 31/12/2013 23:10

Please send begging poem to those you aren't even asking to the wedding. And I presume you are getting married on a wee island, insisting everyone including those who stand at the same bus stop in a morning as you are invited and flights cost £335,789 per person?
