DD is 9 months, and received for Christmas from various relatives quite a bit of chocolate, including some Thorntons snowman things, two tubes of buttons, a massive selection box and a couple of small ones. I've let her have some buttons but I really dont think she needs all that chocolate. WIBU to maybe eat it myself? Grin

Yes go for it, i have been eating my DS chocolate and he is 19, but is annoying me. Mind you according to a thread i read yesterday if your DD is 2 its stealing and a crime Confused

I've eaten loads a bit of my dc's selection box chocolate as they aren't really fussed about chocolate in general! Diet starts soon Sad

Mystuff · 29/12/2013 11:59

Oh you've just reminded me of the pleasure of eating dc Xmas and Easter chocolate!!
Enjoy it while you still can:-)

Why are people giving so much chocolate to a baby?

You definitely need to eat some to save her little teeth from decay.

And I definitely won't be eating the Lindt teddy bear I bought for the 9 month old Grin

KeepAbreast · 29/12/2013 12:40

I'm not sure, I can understand the chocolate buttons and maybe the snowman/teddy bear/santa etc shaped chocolates but surely a baby doesn't want a selection box?

Me, on the other hand...

My 2yo dd has gone out for the afternoon with her dad so I've been eating nibbling on her selection box. I don't think she even knew it was there. Mwahahaha bad mummy over here!

Dont poison your poor little babys body. Do the maternal sacrifice and ingest it yourself.

Cheap gifts. Eat them and book your place at Weightwatchers Smile
