Dont get me wrong, i am excited about tomorrow.

I have 4 kids, and wrapping prrsents just frustrates the crap out of me.
I finished them today and jesus...i am so stressed right now.

I dont think i have any hope in the littleuns settling anytime soon.

I have done nothing but tidy, tidy, tidy today and by the looks of the sitting room - you would think i hadnt touched it in a week. Even though it was only a few hours ago.

I feel like such a scrooge. I know the kids are excited. I wouldnt be far off them if it wasnt for this stress!

Its like you know when you need to be quiet - only everything you do ends up louder than usual?
Thats what this stress is like!

Its the most stressed out ive been in a long time. I really blame it on wtapping presents!

I wonder if i could hire a present wrapper next year!

Before long the DCs will be old enough to delegate the packing to. And who says it has to be especially tidy at Christmas?
Have some Wine

shitonit · 24/12/2013 19:17

GiraffesAndButterflies · 24/12/2013 19:19

Yanbu. I could not agree more and have no idea why I didn't start wrapping days ago

Snowdown · 24/12/2013 19:19

This might not help but for the first time ever I did the wrapping before Christmas Eve and the difference to my mood has been incredible, I recommend it for next year. But I have full sympathy, having survived past Christmas hell.

Judybluey · 24/12/2013 19:26

God I hate wrapping too...2 bloody hours of my life I won't get back and I'm knackered!!! Just to see it all ripped off in a frenzy tomorrow and chucked on a big pile in the middle of the room in approx 45. Secs...the kids are going to bed in a minute and I shall de-stress with wine Grin

Ha..i guess its times like this i wish i did drink!
Cup of tea and hollyoaks...and several ciggies have helped a wee bit. A bath should do the trick!

So pleased im not the only one!
I will defintely be wrapping earlier next year. Cant be doing with this again!
