To hope that the wind blows away the 8ft inflatable snowman?

I live next door to people who really go to town with their outdoor decorations. The light up animals, I can live with. The Santa climbing up a ladder, is a bit too much, but meh. The lights are actually quite nice, if excessive.

The 8ft high inflatable snowman lit from the inside, however is a step too far.

I am hoping that the gales do the right thing and blow the fecking thing away.

Grin Into your garden?!

WitchWay · 24/12/2013 17:00

Could you "accidentally" brush past it with a big bunch of holly? It sounds ghastly.

XmasLogAndHollyOn · 24/12/2013 17:49

if it ends up in my garden, a sad accident may befall it Sad

AIBU to think my neighbour is being a grinch for not liking my 8ft snowman?!

TheDoctrineOfSanta · 24/12/2013 19:42

I drove past one of these tonight.

The house was on a bend of a dark, windy, waterlogged, unfamiliar country road.

Freaked me right out Xmas Shock

The guy next door has a 6ft vampirefied Santa. It has been up since Halloween. And if is driving me to murder.

Update: The snowman is gone Xmas Shock!

I went out to the crib service with the kids and when I came back it was gone. I don't know whether the wind has taken it or its been punctured or another one of my neighbours has killed it, but it's gone.

(I suspect that they may have taken it in, realising that it was a bad idea to have it out in the gales, but I live in hope.)
