I can't find the sellotape!

I am being unreasonable to be cross about it as I can't find it because the husband wrapped the majority of the kids presents on Friday. But I have a huge box of odds and ends to wrap and have just settled down to do it. And now I can't.

Husband is at work and hasn't got my text asking where it is. Looks like I will be rehiding the presents til tomorrow night now.

Ahh... is it in that huge box? If not, your husband has managed to pack it into one of the parcels he's wrapped and you'll discover it on Christmas morning... or, your husband does those sellotape 'tabs' like mine does, sticking each one to the edge of the table and ripping them off. This is why my table has a zebra-like appearance. Anyway, perhaps the sellotape is still dangling from one of those strips, on the edge of the table.

Can you summon a scout to find it or get some for you? Xmas Grin

I looked in the drawer of shit. I looked on the shelf of doom in the dining room. I braved the playroom.

I have three pairs of scissors. No sellotape. Only place left is the dungeon (under stairs cupboard) but I don't want to brave that this time of night.

Lying - my scout is currently pretending to be asleep :) and I am in PJs so can't pop round to a neighbour. I could improvise and tie parcels up with yarn... Or I could leave it til tomorrow. Or Christmas eve when husband can do it instead...

Ah so it. Will re hide the bloody presents til tomorrow. Can't be arsed to look now. Will find chocolate instead.

Am letting the scout side down here - whatever happened to be prepared I ask myself!

My husband does this..last time it took me 3 days to find the sodding scissors!

If husband wrapped the presents he won't have put the sellotape back where it should be. It will be with the presents, or with the wrapping paper, or on the floor of the room in which he wrapped them. Or in his man-drawer, if he has one of those.

Thought I would update just to give you all somewhere else to search. It was in number 4 child's wardrobe. Fab. Now I can crack on with the wrapping tonight.

Mines in the loft so if one of my ds,s doesnt go up and get it,there will no presents wrapped(roof leaking,black bags etc thats why its in the loft)
