When we were together he never did anything for Christmas. He would expect me to buy all presents etc and we had a joint account so just contributed financially.

He's just phoned to see "if there is anything else on DD list' as he can't get any of the stuff she's asked for, which agreed weeks ago to get!

What did he expect so close to Christmas, and now he expects me to think up ideas.

I helped my ex when he rang me every five minutes to ask for ideas for the kids. I don't want them to be disappointed so it's a good idea to help. Why do they leave it so late though. Weird.
