To moan about my first period in almost 2 years

Just getting ready for work and found I'd started again- first one since before DD (she's now 14 months, my last period was Jan 2012).

My MoonCup therefore needs sterilising, I have no tampons in the house and only a pack of cheap towels I used for MoonCup back up.

Guess I'll be stopping off somewhere on the way to work then.

Yanbu - damn the crimson bitch!

YABU simply because mine came back, at most, 2 months after having each of my 3 babies. Gah!

YANBU.

But at least it ought to be over by Christmas?

YANBU. I was gutted to get mine this month (DD 11 months) as I had to wean ds to get it back last time, he stopped feeding at 1 and was 13 months before she returned. 1 period later, pregnant with dd. Since I plan to keep feeding her, I thought I'd have many more period free months.

Stupid periods.

Can I moan with you?

First in 2 years here.

4 weeks 'on' now, I'm on Cerazette.

Bleeding is only getting heavier, iron levels are suffering, I'm bruising like a mad thing and feeling crapola.

I have greasy hair, I may as well have dunked my head in a fryer, it's falling out in clumps too (iron again)

I also have the most grim, stinky sweat Blush I'm embarrassed to have even DP near me and deodorant and washing isn't working!

I have aloe had a case of a gippy tum since it started Blush

Combine that with the blocked ducts that cause cyst type things down below when I have a period and it makes for a miserable time.

This is normal for me btw, well it was all the time until I had a Merina Coil, then promptly fell pregnant on it so they won't let me have one again.

Fucking nightmare.

Also I'm aware that was all tmi and I'm sorry for that.

Oh no Tinselina, have I got 4 weeks of it to look forward to? I'm also on cerazette and was hoping that it would continue to keep my periods at bay.

I'm not sure if it's a coincidence that I came on today after Dd slept 8-8 for the very first time last night (no night feed) or whether I'm not absorbing the cerazette properly (due to my Crohn's, my GP has stressed the importance of taking extra precautions if I have diarrhoea), or whether it's neither of the above and just time for it to return.

I gave up feeding DS 2 months ago. Hmm

I'm sticking with it (the pill that is) because I can't have anything else I'm just praying it right itself soon.
