When would be unreasonable to start the hoovering?

Semi detached. Neighbour away. Kids in bed but they were out last night and didn't go to bed til after midnight.

Posh visitor arriving tomorrow.

I think now is OK- if they got in at midnight then they've had chance to have 8 hours sleep!

Hoover out it is they are supposed to be helping but considering they are going out again at 2pm and have homework to do I think I've not much chance of any meaningful contribution.
