I work in customer service and a couple of weeks back at work we were given a handout.
This handout gives you a general idea of what to say when a customers order fails a check. Because we don't have any kind of script whatsoever so anything I find this handout quite valuable when dealing with an angry customer.
A new guy at work was on such a call when he asked if I had the handout. I gave it to him.
A few days later I asked for it back and he said - sorry I haven't got it, I shredded it.
I know it's petty but it's pissed me off. It was my property and something I will always have use for and he just shredded it without bothering to ask me if I wanted it back.
