AIBU to eat some of DD's selection box?

In light of the childhood obesity epidemic I'm probably doing her a favour. And she's only 2, how much chocolate should a 2yr old eat? Not much, I'd bet.

I'd just have the Wispa. And maybe the Flake. The Picnic has got peanuts in so I should probably dispose of that safely.

But. It was a gift for her by a colleague from work. Sad

They'll never know

Just buy another one without nutty bars - you are doing her a huge favour Grin

DD is two and a half. Someone dropped a selection box in the other day but I had to eat the Curly Wurly, the crunchie and the chomp bar. Far too chewy for little teeth :)

She has some buttons and a fudge bar left....

Wispa's gone…….Blush

Are we thinking the Crunchie is too dangerous for a 2 yr old? These selection boxes are a minefield of lovely chocolate.

It's all too much for a 2 year old, it will rot his lovely white baby teeth and you wouldn't want that. Much better that you eat the lot and keep his teeth all pearly white. Also surely a crunchy will not be fully appreciated by a 2 year old. All that honeycomb loveliness can only be truly appreciated by adult folk.
I would convince myself of the same if my children were still 2 years old, but they are old enough to realise that I have eaten their chocolate and will never let me hear the end of it.
Then again......I could eat it now and replace it on Monday.

Why not - I always eat their Easter eggs and anyway you are doing them a favour!

I thought that was the law, my DH and me have already eaten 2 selection boxes meant for presents! We enjoyed them far more than those kids would have anyway! ;-)
