my ds is 4 and has started bringing home reading books

tonights was about a what I'm hoping was a ghost (that looked like a member of the kkk) that went from house to house looking for a home , but was beaten up by humans along the way

seeing as its a c of e school and we don't do Halloween anyway would I be unreasonable to complain about the book?

Well the C of E do believe in the immortal soul. And the afterlife.
Do you not think the book could prompt discussions about differences between us and how best to treat others who are different?

Do you have the title or publisher?

is this my home - the Ginn reading programme

its not an inclusive book, no one wants to live with the ghost creature , its quite sad

as a christian I'm aware of the holy spirit, this is in now way similar. its not even a cute ghost like cash er

Was it cute in the same way the holy ghost is cute?

I've not come across that one.

But I've stumbled across another thread about it on MN - so you aren't the only one to find it peculiar.
