Where can I get nice character PJ's for children?

Looking for Christmas PJs for boys age 7 and below. They like Angry Birds, Star Wars etc. All the ones I've seen have the character logos in that plastic stuff, rather than the type where the logo is part of the fabric.
I hate the plastic style, it doesn't wash well and soon looks tatty. I've tried Next, BHS, Marks (which did the preferred type last year) but to no avail.

Where else can I try?

Got some lovely Angry Bird ones in M & S for DS (7)

John Lewis have nice, quality kids PJ s - last time I was in they had batman, beano, gruffalo ones, although not cheap. I agree, the cheaper plastic ones are horrid even after washing.

Primark have fluffy character ones in. Toddler has Spiderman ones

MyCarHasBrokenDownAgain · 04/12/2013 20:27

These

Washed up great, and not those silly plastic type transfers that wash off or stick to themselves:)

tarajupp · 04/12/2013 20:27

Sainsbury's and Mothercare ones washing well here!

LittleprincessinGOLDrocks · 04/12/2013 20:29

If you have a homebargains near you they have various character PJs in store. Ours had Thomas the Tank Engine, Star wars, spiderman and (IIRC) Angry birds.

Matalan had lots too here .
The HB ones were soft fluffy fabric. HTH

YABU for posting such a boring, noninflammatory topic in AIBU.

John Lewis has a great range of good quality character pjs for boys called Rock n Roll pirates

Kasterborous · 04/12/2013 20:33

They've got some really nice soft cotton Gruffalo ones in sainsbury's.

IamInvisible · 04/12/2013 20:34

These Angry Birds ones at Tesco say they are printed. I've zoomed right in, they don't look like they have got that plasticky transfer thing on the front.

There's a few at Tesco, including Spider-Man fleece, Toy Story, Fireman Sam Disney Planes in a more traditional style.

insummeritreinsdeer · 04/12/2013 20:34

M&S have some lovely gruffalo ones, too. Mothercare also great quality.

IamInvisible · 04/12/2013 20:40

Matalan have got a couple of pairs, not many though.

Gruffalo at Debenhams

IamInvisible · 04/12/2013 20:47

Batman

Superman

Monsters Inc

Planes

SkyLanders

All from Asda.

ihearttc · 04/12/2013 20:52

We've got some Angry Birds ones from Next...we get them every year and are washed a million times and still look good. I usually end up e-baying them after he has grown out of them.

The logo is plastic but has never come off or looked tatty...and they are about the only PJ's that Ive found that don't shrink!

PrammyMammy · 04/12/2013 20:52

Matalan?

drudgetrudy · 04/12/2013 21:02

Tesco. Good choice, look on-line

skittycat · 04/12/2013 21:31

Ive seen some nice ones in both Tesco and Asda recently that don't have the plasticky stuff.

costumething · 04/12/2013 21:51

Thanks all. I didn't see those in the Marks or Tesco near me, and its hard to tell online what the fabric is like. I'll try some other branches.
And I'll try to post in the correct topic next time...
