AIBU to think I'm a Celebrity isn't real?

I don't watch I'm A Celebrity (which is why my view on it may be skewed).

But am I the only one to think it's actually set in a studio in the UK, rather than in Australia?

It just looks fake, I've been to Oz. It's just all a big secret right?

Is it just me? Am I thinking about this way too much?

I can't imagine that even David Icke would think it's filmed in a studio in the UK. What makes you think it might be?

It's definitely not filmed in the UK, but the "jungle" they film in surely isn't "real", is it? I always presumed it was a specially built outdoor set that had been dressed to look a bit like a jungle.

It most certainly IS filmed in Australia. It is a big outdoor setting and a proper camp in heavily wooded hills near the coast of Queensland, although tropical rainforest type jungle would be pushing it a bit far. It is adapted for TV cameras and equipment, and is used not just by ITV, but also by German TV crews at other times of the year for similar shows.

i have thought this for years

however, i do think it is really in australia, but i think its in some sort of national park, rather than a jungle . and i think the "celebs" go and kip in a hotel or a winnebago or something at night

and they defo get proper showers as they all look far too clean

They do look cleaner this year. Havent quite worked out why. I have been assuming that they are allowed to take in more products this year?
