..for a new tyre.

Last night I had a mega craving for crumpets. Drove to the local shop to get some and they had sold out.

Drove down the road to the garage and properly kerbed the front left tyre taking a huuuuuge chunk out of it.

Now need fork out £100 for a new one.

AIBU to be silently seething at the shop for running out of crumpets which put me in that position in the first place?! (It obv has nothing to do with my shit driving skills and poor spacial awareness).

Those stupid crumpets turned out to be a very expensive craving. Confused

Doh! I felt similarly about nandos this weekend. My dad and I were heading out to his car to get a takeaway, he tripped backwards (it was dark) and knocked himself out on the wall! Ended up being sent an ambulance.

He is fine thankfully. Damn that takeaway. :o

(Incidentally, we ended up getting a Chinese instead. Dad was just happy he didn't have to go to hospital and miss Strictly :o)

DH once insisted on going to tesco to save 40p on the milk we needed and did £200 damage to the car in the car park.

YANBU

Buying wheels and tyres has been the theme of my 2013.

I won't bore you with the details but over the course of the year I have had to purchase 5 wheels and 8 tyres costing the best part of £3000. Blardy Charnwood Borough Council (and their lackadaisical approach to signposting sudden change in road surfaces) can BITE ME Angry

Good to see I'm not the only one who does irrational blaming.

Fuzz, I'm glad your dad was ok!
