To really dislike the John Lewis Xmas Advert?

I just don't get it.

A bear and a hare...why? Why are they friends?

The hare looks like one of the scary half-dead rabbits from Watership Down. Makes me shudder to look at.

Yanbu. I like the tune but the pictures are horrible. It's a total rip-off of the Watership Down drawings too.

I don't like it. The bear is probably going to die because he hasn't hibernated long enough because SOMEONE got him an alarm clock...

I cant stand it. All that squeaky ,breathy singing and the silly storyline. Gah! Angry

The whole thing just makes my teeth itch. Too sweet to be wholesome.

I was really disappointed. John Lewis have got good form for a decent Xmas ad.

My all time favourite ad was the John Lewis 2011. I cry buckets every time I watch it.

YANBU. Leaves me totally cold. Really dislike the song choice, too.

I don't think they'll ever beat their own advert from 2011 with the little boy waiting for Christmas. They got it so right then. I think a lot of it is down to the music, the right song can make or break an advert.

I associate John Lewis as being the ultimate English shop, and I may be wrong but I don't think that brown bears are often spotted in the English countryside. Maybe a squirrel or a badger would have been a better idea.
