To worry at what Optician Found

Hi

Saw a thread last night regarding freckles behind eyes ..

My DD has, it seems, scarring behind the eyes , both eyes, and was seemingly born with it .. Has anyone else come across this ? I have googled this but its all pretty long winded .. .Optician told her he would keep an eye (no pun intended) on it and has stated she needs glasses for long distance (this apparently has nothing do with the scarring) ..

Ok, well for a start don't google anyway, it puts the fear of god in you and half the time these articles are not written by experts.

If the optician was worried there was anything sinister going on he would have referred your DD so please don't worry about it. Just make sure she goes to her eye tests when she is supposed to and get her the glasses she needs.

Yes he didn't seem unduly concerned (I wasn't with her as she is 20 now) luckily .. She has some glasses on order :)
