We have a one and 2 year old.

I am 6 months pregnant.

As can be expected we pretty much don't have sex due to pure exhaustion.

So imagine my delight to wake up to being kissed by Dh (it was 2.30 am but you know, a girl takes it where she finds it). Things quickly progress and then in the middle Dh just rolls over and goes to sleep.

Due to pregnancy insomnia I've been awake for 3 hours, tired, frustrated, and having to listen to him snore.

I've tried poking him awake for him to finish the job and he's dead to the world, the kids will be awake 2 hours and its fucking thanksgiving and he can't cook so I'm going to be cooking all day. And I can't sleep.

So aibu?

He might be a sexsomniac! My bf does this. Wakes me up in the night with amorous advances, and just as I start to reciprocate, he rolls over back to sleep. He claims to have no memory of it, and has actually been very embarrassed when I've told him.

Generally, I find it quite amusing, but it's annoying if you can't get back to sleep! Have you asked him about it?

There's no such thing as can't cook. Only won't cook!
Anyone can follow a recipe and cook.
It may come more naturally to some. Or does he have some kind of illness which means he can't??
I'd be livid too though if someone got me going and then didn't finish the job.
I remember being rampant when I was pregnant.
Finish the job yourself and get some sleep.
I hope you have a lovely thanksgiving.

Canweseethebunnies yes, it used to be like that, before the sleep deprivation, We'd both kind of wake and wonder how the hell it had started, and then usually go back to sleep. Not happened for a very long time though now!

Hellsbells, he's a shit cook really, and takes ages to make simple things... Cooking classes for Christmas this year I think!

Being left to it is particularly annoying when pregnant definitely!

I became pregnant after a similar incident. Not sure how as it must have lasted seconds!
Hope you got some sleep in the end. Happy Thanksgiving!
