DH promised he would bring home a Greggs iced doughnut on his lunch break.

I have been on a diet. I was so excited. You might say I planned my day around it.

He came home with cupcakes. Cupcakes with mint icing.

I want to kick him out, leave. Never come back.

YABU. Greggs don't have any nice donuts since they ditched lemon and the jaffa cake ones! They do do a nice iced apple Danish though.

LTB! This almost compares to the time df carried the box containing my lovely strawberry tarts (from sainsburys ) into the house on its SIDE! the cakes and sauce were splattered into the corner, I was livid and almost crying with rage screamed at him so he chucked them in the bin.

LTB. When I was 40 weeks pg, my DH got me lemon & herb chicken instead of medium at Nando's. I sat back, let pregnancy hormones take over & sobbed. He still feels guilty nearly 5 years later .

I've told this story recently but when I was heavily pregnant and DP was going to ASDA, I asked him to surprise me with something sweet.

I might be able to convince my 2 year old (for now) that a "lovely delicious apple" is the nicest treat in the house but if I really thought that I wouldn't break out the dairy milk as soon as she goes to bed

I emailed DP earlier saying that the baby needed sherbet lemons.
