I always preferred the little Scottish one, especially with his hobbit curls. I say little, he's probably really tall in real life, I don't actually know.

He was ds's best mate at sixth form college and was a really lovely boy.

Alexreid - that may have been the one I saw. I don't know LOTR and was only aware of DM on Lost (Sawyer gal myself) and was amazed when I happened to catch an repeat of the Hettie programme. I had to conclude that on Lost he actually just played himself and therefore no acting ability was required
