YANBU I hope the bank has blocked the card.

I paid our credit card online with my debit card last month. Within half an hour the bank was on the phone telling me someone was trying to use my debit card to make a £300 iTunes payment!Shock

Fortunately Nat West noticed this was an odd thing to be doing on our account so declined the payment and blocked the card!

But I agree with you, the people who do this are scummy, wanking Bastards! Angry

IamInvisible that is a bit surprising, normally a credit card website would have plenty of security. Had you never used your debit card online before this then?

I have used both debit and credit card online loads of times for several years, and the only time we had fraud was after a trip to London (I used a couple of cash machines there, and I suspect one may have had one of those credit card secret scanning devices hidden in it). Never had a problem from online use.

I don't want to worry you, but have you thought there could be a virus on your PC?

Yeah, card blocked. I only use my iPhone nowadays, so no idea how they got my details, especially as the websites I use are big names eg amazon.
