He is in bed next to me, temputure 1/2 hour ago was 39.6 checked 2 minutes ago it 38.5 so going down. He has had neurfen the fan is on.

He has netflix and a drink close by, this is the 3rd night now I have been awake and I am shattered.

It depends why he's awake, is he in pain, or any neck stiffness/pain on moving?

It's tonsillitis, think I will just have to stay awake.

Not sure if he is in pain, he has a very high pain threshold.

I would love him to read to me, but he struggles with reading.

Can you read to him? He might find it easier to drift if to sleep without tv on. Screens at bedtime are notorious for causing sleep problems. You must be exhausted, hope he gets better soon

Oh well he has finally gone to sleep, so off to sleep myself. Up in 3.5 hours to get DD to school.
