Long story- DP's DF died last year, everyone took it terribly bad esp mil obviously! It's her birthday today and I thought it would be nice to mark the occasion because let's face it, her birthdays going to hard enough. So, I thought i would make a cake and invite sil along with her dh(who Btw is a complete wanker) and her 3 not so dc. Arrived at mils house this afternoon with cake, hand made and decorated by me, with presents also. And was told by a sobbing mil that her dd and family wouldn't be coming this evening but that mil could come round to their house tomorrow with cake and she could have her presents then. Now tell me, is that mean or what? I specifically asked sil was I over stepping the mark etc and she said no no blah blah. So sil wouldn't even come to see her own mother on her birthday let alone her bloody gc. Then to top it off they drive to house, stop outside driveway look in and drive away... And
When questioned said oh we didn't want
To
Disturb your
Dinner. Which is complete balls because they barge in all the fckn time!! Rant over. Opinions please!!
