I reported my card lost on the 4th of this month.(my ex decided go take it with him. Ass)
I received a text saying it had been dispatched and would be at the branch within 48 hours.
So i travel all the way to my local branch two days later to find it hadnt been sent tk the branch, and seemed to have been sent to my old address.
Which i stated i needed to change my address when i reported it. Only they said i couldnt until i had my new card.
Fair dos. I waited again. They sorted it out and received a text saying the same thing. Two days later, i went to branch to find it stillwasnt there and something was up AGAIN. Fair dos...i waited again.
I have been down to get money out and to also check if my card is there last week. Still no sign of it. But they did change my address.
Why couldnt they change my address when i first asked if i didnt in fact need the card to do that? Why couldnt the card then just be sent to my current address now that they have changed it.
The most annoying thing about it is i cannot get emergency cash via my phone as no card is linked to my account.
Which is understandable, but its irritating the shit out of me.
I rang on friday asking what was what and i was put through to south field or something. My sort code that i gave them indicated the place i wanted to be put through to. She then argued with me saying that i only reported it on the 12!! Then realised she was mistaken as i wasnt through to the correct branch.
Omg! It would have been easier and quicker had i just started from scratch again!!
On a positive side, my balance is slowly increasing since i have barely touched it.
But my cupboards are looking rather bare!!
