OK OK I didn't read the label properly. But today I purchased some B&J Peanut Butter Me Up, which sounds delicious. However, what I missed on the tub was the word 'Core' !!

Why ruin perfection of Peanut Butter & Vanilla Ice Cream mixed with Reeces pieces with a huge vile core of Raspberry Jam, boak!!!!

I am generally a fan of Raspberry jam, but this has ruined my evening!!!

The Peanut Butter Cup is delicious. Have just eaten some. No jam evident.

I did this exact same thing earlier today OP. Bought it as half price in Tesco.. got home and actually read the label. raspberry fucking jam ffs!

The vanilla is wrong for me I want just peanut Jam I can take or leave.

Yes, got it from ASDA. Luckily it was in the category of "shopping they delivered" rather than "shopping they didn't" - husband is a bit cross that his beer was in the second group.

I did the same. Just scoop the jam out and put it on toast tomorrow, then eat the icecream tonight

All the core ones are rubbish. You're tricked into thinking you're getting an exciting new flavour when all you get is half a tub of proper ben & Jerrys and half a boring flavour, with some pointless bit in the middle.

I'll stick with just cookie dough might have to get some out of the freezer now

Why do all the Core ones have a great flavour on one side (like Peanut Butter) and an utterly shit one on the other (fuck off with all the chocolate!!!).

And some of the 'cores' are like concrete once they're frozen.

Don't you find B&J icecreams a bit floury? Sort of like raw cake mix but frozen? Is there one that does not contain some sort of wheat based product?

Sorry but I love Ben and Jerry's, so much so that when we went to Vermont a couple of years ago it was on the top of my list. I had so much fun at the factory! And the choices they have there, so so so many!

They don't have Ben and Jerry's where I live now and I miss it!

Yanbu, the jam core is awful.

I nearly out that ice cream in my basket until I examined it more closely and realized there was jam in the middle. Gross. What a waste of a lovely ice cream.

Asda had the Peanut Butter Cup one on the website last week for just £3!!

I really wish they would do more vanilla and fruity flavours though, everything seems to be chocolate or caramel.

Warning - I fucked up my teeth eating the Peanut Butter Cup ice-cream, bought because it was new and on offer at Asda!

The actual pieces of pbc inside, while absolutely delicious, are like FROZEN STONES. I cracked a tooth on one, not expecting a massive great lump of solid chocolate and peanut butter in my first spoonful. It still hurts two weeks later

The other core ones are good! The salted caramel core is delicious. Jam not so much though.
