Annoying girls on the train

Two girls are sitting opposite me on the train. Both have very long nails, and both are picking their nail varnish off with their nails and teeth.
Noise is annoying, and several bits of varnish has landed on my coat!
I would move but difficult to get out, and not much standing room either.
WIBU to tell them to stop. I could always get the nail varnish remover out of my case and hand it them!

Just move, it can't be that hard?

I'd say something to them, but I'd be exaggeratedly polite. Usually works when I'm asking selfish people to take their filthy feet off the seats.

If nobody tells them that their behaviour is unacceptable, they will keep doing it!

Reach across and slap their hands

I would not say anything at all. It might be driving you mad but you dont know what they are like. Might all start kicking off

Train is packed. No where to go with a heavy case.
Their conversation is quite entertaining though.

OP perhaps your heavy case is driving people nuts on a packed train.

If you offer them remover, someone will complain about the smell of it.

There are worse things they could do though....

It could be worse, you could have a Dad toddler pulling your hair from the seat behind.

Ask 'em if they know how bad it is for their nails, takes a layer off leaving weak, will never be gorgeous if they pick!

Next time a bit lands on you, very conspicuously and deliberately brush it off your coat while giving them "evils".
