He performed on Children in Need Rocks last night. I haven't seen him up close for ages and I was shocked. He could hardly move his face and he looked like he couldn't close his eyes properly. In comparison with Tom Jones, who is ageing well, he looked a bit strange.

Think this is plastic surgery gone bad.

Well, given that Barry Manilow is really Jim Morrison according to the conspiracy theorists, I suppose he's got to do lots of lifting and tucking to avoid being mobbed by druggy Doors fans......

He looks like he's had cheek implants - done badly. As well as everything else.

All he has admitted to is a facelift in the 90s.

I happen to think he looks wonderful. His frog like face with its taut skin and permanently smug expression make me giddy with desire.

In fairness, he has never looked entirely natural.

His eyes freaked me out. How the hell does he sleep when he can't close them properly? And his mouth hardly moved. I thought for a minute that Madame Tussauds had wheeled out their wax work of him by mistake.

I loved him back in the 80s and still danced along to Copa Cabana. Just with my eyes closed this time.

It's such a shame, he was never conventionally good-looking but he had a certain charm and would probably have aged reasonably well. His health is poor as well.
