To use AIBU as an excuse/support/resource for everything?

Long time lurker but finally tackled my commitment issues and joined the vipers nest
I have found myself saying to my DH constantly:
"Well on MN this happened..."

"Yeah didn't finish housework because there was this thread on MN...."

"....oooh I don't know....let me check MN"

Well just wanted to say hi really!

since finding AIBU I really HAVE found myself in certain situations where before MN I would have been pissed off or irritated but now I do stop myself and think AM I? AIBU? (usually I am a bit)

I don't actually pause life to check every teeny thing on MN. I value your opinion but there is a limit!

You didn't finish your housework!? what the hell were you think!? Hang. Your. Head. In. Shame.

DH LOVES a good AIBU, he always answers 1st before hearing the responses.

If google doesn't give DH the answer he is looking for he will ask me to check MN.

YANBU. Or if you are BU, so am I. If DH and I disagree about something, he gives me the look and asks if I'm going to start a thread on MN to ask "a bunch of internet weirdos" to resolve our issue.

By presentable I mean I won't be appearing on any tv shows regarding my home - although currently I complete only what I can between changing babies and consulting the wisdom of you lot ....
