About DH's Amazon wish list for Christmas

DH has a zombie Apocalypse 'issue'. We live in a place with earthquakes and tsunamis so fair play to him, it might actually keep him alive one day (and possibly DD and I, although he might eat us).

He sent me his Christmas wish list today. Fire starters, bug out bags, emergency rations and a machete . A good collection of things we will never need that will keep us alive through the end times. What has me weeping in hysterics is that his next few items are books he asked for some time ago. Not related, just books he fancies.

The Year of the Flood
by Margaret Atwood (Paperback)

Neverwhere: A Novel
by Neil Gaiman (Paperback)

Leviathan Wakes
by James S.A. Corey (Paperback)

The Last Battle: When U.S. and German Soldiers Joined Forces in the Waning Hours of World War II in Europe
by Stephen Harding (Hardcover)

Is he obsessed/ And am I right to laugh at him? BTW he saw the humour. Thank goodness or I might have to eat him come the zombies.

I have a friend like that, with bug out bags and the entire kit. It kind of makes me go Hmm. If the world goes out that way, I'm just not sure I want to hang around to watch it...

Well, Neverwhere has nothing to do with Zombies or the apocalypse, so far as I remember!

So a small moment of sanity? Grin
