Had a delivery on Friday, I was at work and missed it and got a text saying it has been left at number 2.

I live at number 1 in a block of flats. I never gave them authorisation to leave with a neighbour.

No 2 said they never got it - they of course could be lying. However I rang the courier service and they said - as far as we're concerned we left it at the right address.

Aibu to think no you bloody didn't deliver it to the right address! It might be the same building but it was a completely different number.

Hermes or Yodel? Both are shit, both think chucking a parcel over the fence in the vicinity of a house which may or may not be the address on the parcel equals a successful delivery.

Can you contact the shop or wherever you bought the item from, and get them to sort it out? What do the delivery companies say on their websites about non-delivery?
