To think dsis has a right to see this?

Dsis was on housing list for medical reasons.

New policies were implemented and her case reassessed. She as been taken off the list as they consider her condition not major enough.

Dsis asked for an explanation and was told the la team of drs reviewed it and submitted a report. Dsis asked to see the report and la have refused saying it is an 'internal' document and she will not be allowed a copy.

Can they do this? She wants to appeal but needs to know exactl why they think she is not eligible.

She can apply for a copy under Data Protection rules, as it is a document about her. They will have to provide it AFAIK.

Under the data protection act if it's about your dsis she has a right to see it.

Thankyou, I will tell her.

They were very rude and unhelpful to her, refusing a proper explanation and watch tapping wanting her to leave.

There are exemptions under the data protection and freedom of information acts.
