as his bedtime story he wanted to look through his scrapbook tonight and as i was reading one of his fact boxes he stated that "i get books to do booktrack from the PUBIC library " so i started sniggering and a look of disgust from him how do i make it up to him (the more he was getting the hump the more i sniggered)

Just tonight, DS's rocket was "coming on DH's hair" apparently. I'm afraid I laughed. Luckily DS didn't notice/care. I'm sure your DS is not deeply hurt. Maybe explain to him that mummy was being silly and that you weren't laughing at him..

CoffeeTea103 · 08/11/2013 23:23

Look of disgust? Ffs, he's 4 no need to 'make it up'. He will survive this.

Mylovelyboy · 08/11/2013 23:25

I have read this about 10 times and still not getting it Confused

Mignonette · 08/11/2013 23:25

You need to change your personal details Devonshire. it's a little contradictory about whether you have children/how many Smile

MurderOfGoths · 08/11/2013 23:25

Think you forgot to add "lighthearted" to your thread OP Confused

It's hard isn't it, when they are annoyed at you laughing and it just makes you laugh more? Luckily they soon forget

AgentZigzag · 08/11/2013 23:38

If he's 4 I'm sure he was just looking at his mum in disgust because she was sniggering when she should have been reading.

('pubic' instead of 'public' library mylovely)

AgentZigzag · 08/11/2013 23:40

I think profiles automatically say you have no children unless you change it Migno.

Profile says OPs DS is 7.

devonshiredumpling · 08/11/2013 23:42

my son is seven now just to clear up the confusion( i know that aged four he could not read let alone write)

I thought it was amusing (in a nice way) how Devon talks of her 'thriving on chaos' and the profile says three different things Smile. it is quite endearing actually.

AgentZigzag · 08/11/2013 23:44

Is my 4 YO unusual then?

She's written three sonnets today.

theeternalstudent · 08/11/2013 23:46

Today DD has told me that she has a "forth head" rather than a forehead and that her friend does "physio Furby" rather than physiotherapy.

She gets ever so upset if I correct her!
