flipping brilliant?

They have a local number (not premium rate). I phoned this morning to get an appointment for DD (she has a weird bite thing) and got an appt for 4pm.

Then my CM called me home at 2pm to pick up DS2. I think he has a chest infection. So I phoned the surgery to see if they could fit us in and they have merged the appts to see both children together.

I have to say that in a day of general crapness, their pleasant and efficient manner and functioning appointment system has cheered me right up.

AIBU?

sounds pretty normal?

You'd only AIBU if you didn't pass your praise to the surgery manager Smile

2tiredtoScare · 06/11/2013 14:44

Sadly it's not, my old doctors surgery was appalling

RoxanneReidsChafingFishnets · 06/11/2013 14:45

Mine is a bag of wank.

Reality · 06/11/2013 14:45

Hurrah for yours too, Sue.

I'm glad. I keep hearing awful things about doctors' receptionists and thanking my lucky stars.

The best bit is I don't have to do the appointment as Dh will be home and I'll have gone back to work. So when they're waiting for an hour to be seen I'll be cosy and warm back at the office...

Ours are getting better, 8am rather than 8.30 opening which is an enormousness help in knowing if DH or me are doing the school run for the well child.

And the phone seems to get answered quicker.

Mine are fantastic too. As is the nearest hospital.
