Regarding my 22yo dd who want to be a lawyer. I have spoke to her this morning and she's shown me some of the work she's been doing in college and she's been getting good grades so is obviously working hard.

The thing is though, I'm worried sick about her. Like I said I don't want her to get stressed when it comes to her degree next year when she doesn't need to be. I just want her to make the right choice.

I didn't once call her thick neither but she didn't work hard in school and was so lazy. So I was worried she'd do the same now and not achieve anything.

Don't know why my thread was deleted either.

MNHQ said that it was reported because they believed it was started to mislead.

And they came on the thread to alert you to the fact that they had emailed you.

deleted, not reported. Sorry.

the deletion message said it was deleted because they believed it was started to mislead.

I think people felt you were being so unreasonable you couldn't have been telling the truth.

Personally, I'm not sure. University debts are a huge amount of money and you might be genuinely worried and have worded your OP in a tactless way.

MN is very judgemental about the right freedom and self determination of DCs from 16 onwards. It's not alway how real families work.
