To rely on my ds for his hugs

I know I'm the parent and its supposed to be me giving ds (7) cuddles but he's so damn good at giving big proper bear hugs and sometimes I really rely on him to give me a mahoosive squish and let my troubles melt away!

Nothing like a good squish when needed!

Wait till he's 17 & 6ft 4 ......they'll be even better

I have twin 4 yr old boys for this very reason :)

I said to him the other day that I would be sad when he gets too big to sit on my lap for cuddles, he told me n matter how big he gets he will always give me hugs. Good job too coz I need them!

I say to my ds this is my reward for childbirth!! We love cuddles!! So does daddy unashamedly!!

YNBU, I get hugs from my teens! And a proper continental 3-kisses-goodbye every morning from my 12 yo ds.

I am enjoying hearing about all these grown up boys still cuddling .

Can so relate to this OP. I love my ds giving me hugs. It make my day

my son is 9 and leans against me for a hug and then i give him a squelchy kiss on his neck and then he laughs and then farts noisily

I am do glad boys cuddle no matter what age... I do totally rely on my Ds hugs - and feel weird about it as I'm the grown up and shouldn't be relying on anything from him!

My 14 yo ds cuddles up occasionally when he feels ill or sad

I love the big hugs I get from my 3 DS - they are 16,18 & 20 & a hug from any of them is the best thing ever. DS1 is away at uni & every time he comes home the first thing he does is wrap his old mum up in a great bear hug
