My young adult DD has a smartphone and has been going over her 1GB/month tariff allowance the past few months. She denies any knowledge of doing anything differently, but isn't exactly giving the matter her full attention, so I'm the one thinking about it! She doesn't download films, she's cut back on Spotify, so the only thing I can think of now is snapchat. And can I find out how much data a snapchat transmission uses to send/ receive? Can I buggery. The phone provider seemed to be struggling to understand my query just before the signal failed and I gave up, will try again; snapchat website and googling it just say 'it uses data from your package and if you exceed it you'll be charged'. Yeah, but how much data?! Why the reluctance to tell us, guys? I'm starting to feel like it's a conspiracy between snapchat and the phone companies!
Has anyone else had a similar thought?
