AIBU about dry cleaners!

Really not sure if I am or not so opinions wanted please.

Picked up dry cleaning last week and took off the covers to put away in the wardrobe. Just about to put dress away when I noticed writing on the paper tag that they put in the garment. It said 'hem down' and sure enough the hem is completely unstitched ie not just down in a couple of places. I don't know if there was loose stitching before but it certainly wasn't completely down because I had worn it recently. Because of this I'm not sure if the dry cleaners shouldn't re hem it for me?

The part that really annoys me, and where I don't know if IBU, is that they didn't tell me when I picked the stuff up. Often I will put my cleaning away in its plastic and I only unpacked because 2 garments were together. So do you think they should at least tell me there's a problem or should I just check straight, perhaps in the shop?

They are generally really good cleaners although I have had the odd issue like this in the past.
