Aaarrgghh! Buzzards!

When I was growing up, buzzards were only seen in cowboy films. Now they're everywhere, all big and angry looking. I didn't realise how big and angry until yesterday, when one came and sat on a fencepost in the layby where I was eating my sandwiches. AIBU not to want that beak and claws anywhere near me? All yellow and razor sharp they were.

Uh oh. It's a bad sign when you have buzzards eyeing you up speculatively. If any smartly dressed gents try to measure you today you know you're a goner!

Oh I love our buzzards. I can usually hear them suqeeling high up long before they come into sight not sure I would want them eyeing up my lunch

It's not after you or your sarnie, take a step back and appreciate that a bird of prey has decided you're not too scary and it'll sit near you. They're a great species and do a lot of good in the ecosystem. Plus they're bloody beautiful.

YABU I love them, especially when I see them hassling the scabby seagulls which inhabit the town, 70 miles inland!

Round here they also give the aggressive crows a run for their money. its quite funny to watch.
