To want to kill drunk DH

Bathsheba · 02/11/2013 05:44

DH was out on a 'big night' tonight.

I don't mind that.

I don't really mind that he got in at 5am

I don't really mind the amount that would have been spent

I don't even really mind that I'll have all 3 dads without any help tomorrow as he will be written off all day.

But please please shut up with the drunken snoring.

(Yes I get plenty of nights out - I 'm generally always home before midnight and functionall from 7 am).

3 dad eh? Woo hoo!

AlwaysDancing1234 · 02/11/2013 05:53

Try shoving a smelly sock under his nose, that'll stop the snoring

Bathsheba · 02/11/2013 05:53

See, too tired to proofread . 3 dds..!!!

And I have tried to get him to roll over...

I have strict rules that drunken snoring=sleeping on sofa. No problem with him enjoying himself, big problem if I lose sleep because of it.

Bathsheba · 02/11/2013 06:01

Managed with vigorous shaking and a good telling off to get the lump turned. Now hopefully I can nap for a wee while - 2 of the dds have flu vacs at 9.25 and Dd1 had rugby training at 10

Haha! My sympathies, honestly, but it's so funny when it's not me Grin
I have been known in the past to leave the front room door open with a light on, the tv on low on a sporty channel, a pint of water and a blanket, to lure DP in there after a night out. He's 100% guaranteed to fall asleep wherever he sits, so i'd rather he snored down there!
You're welcome by the way, for the genius idea Grin
On a more serious note, I hope you have a nice day with the DC and that he wakes up and decides to treat everyone to a takeaway or similar tonight :)

That truly is genius, hallow! I have a mental picture of you laying out a trail of biscuits too or crisps, maybe. Grin

Stuff that for a game of soldiers. Not acceptable behaviour at all.

TheCrumpetQueen · 02/11/2013 08:08

hallow Grin like a trail of sweets to a child, ha! Love it

Shakey1500 · 02/11/2013 08:14

It's unwritten in our house that if DH goes out and it's likely to be late, he sleeps in the spare room. Bliss.

MikeLitorisBites · 02/11/2013 08:19

hallow I do that!! I go down when he comes in and tell him to sit down on the comfy sofa while I make him a drink. Once he is sat I sneak up to bed.

BuzzardBirdBloodBath · 02/11/2013 09:52

I am a little more blunt, I just leave the duvet on the sofa Grin

Grin Just saw this at the bottom of TIO and am coming back to take a bow! Hope your DP was suitably hungover and that it's your turn soon:)
