I ask because there seems to be an absolute plethora of completely outrageous opening posts on AIBU at the moment.
I'm aware that that's partly the remit of AIBU but there have been a few that have been so preposterous they just HAVE to be made up. Two of them have gone pffft in quite short order and I would love to highlight some others but when I called one this morning before it was pfffted I was chastised by a very nice MNer who rightly said that I should just report it, and not shit stir (my words not his/hers) but there have been at least two more since those went yoni up.
They do make for extremely entertaining reading...and in fact are extremely well written on the whole with precious few of the spell check howlers and bold/italics/strikethrough fails that so lovably characterise your average genuine mner, so I am wondering if in fact this isn't some kind of water testing by MNHQ to make sure we're behaving as we ought.
Am I the only one to be sad enough to have noticed this?
